Do you remember,
how we sang the old cheerful songs?
Our heart - it loved music,
it was -
moved by the foliage in the wind,
fascinated by the magnificence of a butterfly,
entranced by the dance of the shadows,
touched by the singing of the Nightingale,
soothed by the rain in the night,
seduced by the magic of the forests and meadows,
devoted to the rays of the sun,
we loved the freedom and our homeland,
but -
the world has changed,
and contentedness dissipated,
poisoned was our mind, and blinded our eyes,
but we have not forgotten,
what once fulfilled our hearts,
the spark of memories is not wiped out,
we will retrieve natural prestige,
faith and glory,
rebuild the halls and temples,
revive the virtues and customs,
close the circle what once was broken,
smash what poisoned us with hatred,
those evil forces shall be defeated,
and detestable shadows banished,
the sun will shine for us,
and we will adore and praise,
the abundance of sunlight,
nobility and purity will return,
and ablaze our soul
